And We're Off on RAGBRAI 2010

Team OWBNID (Often Wrong But Never In Doubt) gathered this evening at the beautiful home of Joni and Terry Eliff in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The Eliffs were our first host home last year and we all hit it off so well that they invited us to return and kick off the week with a party. Our group assembled over the course of the afternoon and evening and got the important pre-ride business taken care of (such as, do we have enough beer for the next few days and does anyone have any food allergies). Business completed, we returned to fun. The Eliffs are also participating in RAGBRAI this year and Joni and Terry's daughter, Whitney - a massage therapist - is going along to offer massages to tired riders in hopes of making some cash. The cooks have already tried to bribe her with a trade of massages for dinner.

Here's our route this year:

Tomorrow afternoon we'll head to Sioux City where our riders will dip their rear tires in the Missouri River - a longstanding RAGBRAI tradition.
